Mailbox

A few months back I was asked by my friends at Flux Space to be a part of an artist residency "Portal Project" at Historic Yellow Springs. A group of 30 artist spent a weekend at Yellow Springs gathering information and ideas. There is so much history at this place it was a bit over-whelming. Most notably, PAFA had a summer country school at Yellow Springs in the 40's. Check out their website to get a better idea.


I decided to make a mailbox for communicating with the past. It depicted different people and uses of Yellow Springs. I also made envelopes for people to write or draw on and "mail" to the past. So it is functional as well.
Here are some pics of the mailbox in progress. I'll post some better ones soon.

This is a flyer I made. I recently started a band with some friends we are called bandname.

Studio Progress

The stuido has some more walls and this week I've started to bring my supplies into it and make things in it as well.



I also started building my bedroom which will be on top of the studio.





I need some stairs and a secret ladder and to run some electricity and I'll be all set!
